Lousy promises tend to be very popular and carelessly given during election campaigns and no matter how many times people hear it and know that they are just empty promises some people still seem to be taken by them. Take for instance the last Senatorial election where the candidates released several speeches about their plans the moment they get the position. Someone even said that he would work on providing grants for mothers returning to college and other scholarship grants for people who are not being able to afford college on their own. This politician also said that education should be one of the primary focus of the government seeing how many young adults don’t seem to make it to college stopping after graduating from high school. Another thing to look into is providing outstanding health care services to the people. Though am not sure how much of what he said on his speech is true and how much is just bluff. But it did seem to get him into office and the country awaits on his progress in making his promises come true.
